About

Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about sewing. I’ve made garments and quilts and mended numerous things. And more recently, I taught myself how to knit and crochet.

Often when people find out I’ve made something, they generally say, ‘You’re so talented‘. But it’s not talent. It’s persistence. Anyone can make beautiful things. You just have to keep practising and try out different ways of doing things, until you find what you like and what works for you.

Throughout my making journey, there has been countless hours of searching. Searching for information on how to apply techniques to a project I was working on. Searching for the right fabric, yarn or notions. So, this is the reason I share my creations and what I’ve learned, so that you can make without all the endless searching.

I hope you find something here that helps you, or inspires you to make something with fabric and yarn.

If you’re alive, you’re a creative person.
